Tyga Takes His Baby Boy to Disneyland

Aww. Tyga celebrated the Top Ten debut of his sophomore album Hotel California this week with a family trip to Disneyland.
T-Raww took son King Cairo out on his first Disneyland adventure, along with baby mama and girlfriend Blac Chyna in tow. The family donned different hats, with T-Raww opting for the Goofy option, when posing with Mickey Mouse. King Cairo looked like the happiest kid in the planet in the happiest place on Earth in other pictures posted on his mama's Instagram page. Tyga's caption to the photo above simply read "blessed."
Next month, the Young Money rapper heads to Europe for an intense monthlong tour in support of Hotel California.

Tyga Defends Rick Ross

Tyga Defends Rick Ross R@pe Lyrics, Says It's "Freedom Of Speech"

Rick Ross may have a lot of people upset over his lyrics on Rocko's now infamous "U.O.E.N.O." track, but he's also got some people in his corner. The latest rapper to come to his defense is Tyga.
The Young Money rapper can relate to lyrical backlash, being that students at Harvard are protesting his forthcoming appearance at their annual Yardfest concert.
During an interview with the LA Leakers, the 23-year-old spoke on how political correctness has brightened the spotlight on rap lyrics.
Standing up for Ross, he labeled the controversial verse an exercise in his 1st Amendment rights. "What he said that's just freedom of speech," Tyga explained making mentioned of the ongoing Reebok protest calling for the shoe company to cut ties with the MMG leader. "It wasn't even his record. For them to do all that off of a mixtape song that wasn't even his is kinda like.... you just got those groups they just wanna [petition].
"Activists and those righteous groups that's what they do, they probably don't even listen to Ross' music, I know they don't know who Rocko is! They just finding anything they can."
In reference to his own controversy, Tyga blasted the notion that he promotes "s-xism" and "r@pe culture," as stated in the Change.org petition against him."I've read the letter and it was funny because--this is just a group this isn't the whole student union. The people that booked me, they're fans. At the end of the day people have a right to their opinion, and I have a right to my opinion; to say what I want because it's my music."
Admitting to making music deemed both good and bad, the "Rack City" rapper welcomes the best of both worlds. "I make negative music, but I also make positive music because that's what's thrown at me in life, your good and your evils."

Tyga Defends Rick Ross Lyric

Tyga Defends Rick Ross Lyric, Refers To "Freedom Of Speech"

Tyga shares his thoughts on Rick Ross' controversial "U.O.E.N.O." lyric, says he's also being boycotted due to his lyrics.
Compton rapper Tyga has now become the latest artist to share his thoughts on Rick Ross’ controversial “U.O.E.N.O.” lyric and the backlash that quickly followed. Tyga seemed to come to the defense of Ross during an interview with Justin Credible when he was asked about the recent criticism the rapper has received.
The Young Money artist went on to state that Ross was merely demonstrating “freedom of speech” on the song. He also pointed out that “U.O.E.N.O.” is not actually the MMG founder’s record.
“It’s like freedom of speech,” said Tyga. “People act like they don’t condone it. Like you can’t say what you feel. You know what I’m saying? It’s just stupid,” said Tyga, before addressing Rick Ross’ “U.O.E.N.O.” lyric. “What he said that’s just freedom of speech. It wasn’t even his record. For them to do all that off of a mixtape song that wasn’t even his is kinda like – You just got those groups they just wanna [petition].”
Tyga’s currently dealing with a situation somewhat similar to that of Ross'. According to the rapper, his upcoming performance at Harvard University is being boycotted by a group who believe that Tyga promotes “sexism and rape culture.”
“I wanted to speak on that because this weekend I’m performing at Harvard, which is one of the most prestigious universities in the world,” Tyga revealed in a video posted on HotNewHipHop.com. “There’s a group on campus that are protesting to not have me perform because of my lyrics. And they said I promote sexism and rape culture…At the end of the day people have the right to have opinions. I have the right to have an opinion. And I have the right to say what I want on my music cause it’s my music. If you don’t like it, don’t click on it, don’t download it. I think it’s just getting out of hand with the whole like people looking into it too much.”
A number of protests and petitions have spawned over the past weeks thanks to a lyric from Ross on Rocko’s “U.O.E.N.O.” On the controversial song Ross raps, "Put molly all in her champagne, she ain't even know it / I took her home and enjoy that, she ain't even know it."

Tyga Kicks Off

Tyga Kicks Off “Closer To My Dreams” Tour in L.A. with All-Star Cast

Just about a year and a half ago, a supposed list of the upcoming releases on YMCMB was leaked across the Internet. A surprise for even the artists listed, the release dates eventually led to speculation and rumors about who was really signed to YMCMB, and if they would ever actually come out with a project.
Amidst the success and literal shine of Birdman, Lil Wayne, Drake, and Nicki Minaj, it seemed like it would be tough for Cash Money/Young Money’s other artists to get recognition on the crowded lineup. But over the years, Los Angeles born and raised rapper Tyga has made his mark and proved the naysayers wrong, as he has separated himself from the pack with several major radio successes over the years.
Tuesday night proved that as Tyga kicked off his “Closer To My Dreams” Tour with a host of friends and fellow rappers, including but not limited to Chris Brown, Game, Wiz Khalifa, Kirko Bangz, MGK, Dom Kennedy, Iggy Azalea, and Cash Out.
Yeah, Tyga has his songs like “Faded” and “Rack City” that are anthems across the country on major radio stations, but as he tirelessly went through roughly 30 songs, fans were given a closer look at the body of work compiled by Tyga and the talent that Wayne signed up. Performing the Young Money hit “Bedrock,” his “Dueces” collaboration with Chris Brown, and “Celebration” with Game, Wiz and Chris Brown, Tyga rapped non-stop for a packed house at Los Angeles’ Nokia Club Theater in downtown L.A.
Before Tyga’s set, LA Reid signee and protege, Cash Out, performed a quick set followed by Iggy Azalea, who came out in a nude and glitter-colored two piece.
After the show, everyone went to Supper Club, one of Chris Brown and Tyga’s frequented locations in L.A. Accompanied by Wiz and several other artists like Bad Boy’s Los, Tyga proved that he is, in fact, currently one of the most successful rap artists putting out music. And according to him, he is, in fact, a “king” – at least in L.A., as his clothing brand and label imprint, “Last King”, suggests.

Tyga Brings the Heat in Tulisa’s Beach Party

Tyga Brings the Heat in Tulisa’s Beach Party

British singer Tulisa is getting the party started right with her summertime video ‘Live It up’ featuring Young Money rapper Tyga. The song, produced by hitmaker Rico Love, will hit the iTunes store on Sept. 9.
Tulisa (full name Tulisa Contostavlos) is part of the “British Invasion” that has swept the United States within the past year. She joins fellow Brits like the Wanted, Rita Ora, Conor Maynard and Cher Lloyd who traveled across the pond looking to crack the pop market stateside. So does Tulisa have to chops to make here in the states? After watching her video, it’s an unanimous yes for us.
In the Colin Tilley-directed clip, Tulisa is the host of a fun-filled luau on a Hawaiian beach and everyone is getting lei-ed. The party gets livelier by the minute as we see people dancing to the bumping sounds and fire twirlers are heating things up with their blazing-hot performance. “We should pop more champagne this year than last year / We should live like it’s the only life we get, there’s nothing else past it,” Tulisa sings over the bongo-driven, dancehall-tinged banger.
The 24-year-old songbird also parades on the beach in several different titillating outfits including a colorful pink bikini with a yellow-colored fishnet top that covers her naughty bits. There’s also shots of Tulisa wearing a pink bra and flora capri pants that are perfect for the nighttime beach party scenes.
Rapper Tyga crashes party and adds his luxury rhymes to the track. “Skinny fly n—a / Big icey watch / The Rolls gone wild / The car ain’t got no top,” he spits. “I’m into ballin’ and being cocky and showing off / Single-handily killing y’all, don’t get involved.”
Overall, Tulisa’s video is a good introduction for people who not familiar with her. If she stays focused (and sticks with Rico Love), Tulisa has a shot of making some noise on the music charts.
